One seems to be meant to need to bomb more than in other games. Dying with 2.00 power is worse than dying with 2 bombs left in other titles would likely be. Particularly so against bosses, where dying against an attack pattern will cause you to lose a potential life piece. However, that means that you can gain more momentum once you can do well. And the game is meant so that one can graze quite a bit, which means more bullets early on. Orin becomes far easier with practice, luckily.
